The company has pursued sake brewing unique to Kokuryu Sake Brewery since its first owner, Ishidaya Nizaemon. Now there are only two sake breweries, Kuroryu Sake Brewery, which goes by the name Ishidaya, and one other brewery. This is the result of stubbornly adhering to the traditional culture of sake brewing

If you think about it, sake has been an indispensable drink on special occasions since ancient times. It was something that people who worked hard every day drank on the rare occasions they had to celebrate. Kokuryu wants to continue to protect the quality of sake, which is a part of this traditional culture.
